This Dryer Door Hinge supports the dryer door on the front panel and allows the door to pivot open and closed. If the existing hinge is damaged or bent, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This replacement hinge is constructed of sturdy metal and is designed to be used with select Whirlpool® and Maytag® dryers; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools and some disassembly of the dryer. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary.
