The Fieldpiece AAV3 Anemometer Accessory Head is purpose-built for HVACR professionals who need accurate air velocity and temperature readings in the field. Compatible with all Fieldpiece modular stick meters, electronic handles, and data loggers, the AAV3 measures air velocity in ft/min, MPH, m/s, and km/hr plus temperature in F and C. Multiply the velocity reading by the register's free area to estimate CFM, diagnose duct blockages, and quickly verify airflow balance in any conditioned space. Features both average and real-time testing modes, a large vane that covers most register free areas for accurate results, and auto power-off after 10 minutes to preserve battery life. Pair with the Fieldpiece DL3 Data Logger for trend logging over time.
