Warranty


Our warranty with respect to any item sold is limited solely to the warranty of the products manufacturer. Appliance Parts Company makes no other warranty of any kind, expressed or implied. We are not responsible for labor charges or consequential damages of any nature whatsoever. We will not assume any responsibility for improper diagnosis or installation. All warranties are limited to the proper use, application, and installation by a trained individual in the industry, and in all events Appliance Parts Company's liability is limited to the purchase price.


Replacement and repair part provisions. Most manufacturer warranties are replacement or repair part provided policies and are not subject to a refund so please inquire regarding the policy of your particular item. All warranty claims will be processed immediately, with the exception of products which manufacturers require an inspection of said product. Additional shipping charges may apply.

In-Home Warranty. Some products may be covered by a manufacturers in-home warranty. These products cannot for any reason be returned to Appliance Parts Company for warranty work or replacement. Manufacturers with in-home warranties are limited to the product be serviced in the home by a warranty approved repair technician. This also includes products that may not work at the time of first installation. Manufacturers will not approve warranty claims on products that have been uninstalled and sent back to Appliance Parts Company. The product must remain installed and the manufacturer will be responsible for managing the process of an in-home warranty repair or replacement. Please contact the manufacturer directly. Always check your warranty policy before removing or uninstalling any products in the case that they may be covered by an in-home warranty.


Date coded items. Some items are stamped during production with date codes to signify warranty periods. Appliance Parts Company takes no responsibility or makes no promises, or implications that products with date codes are supplied with date codes that reflect an exact warranty coverage period. It is the consumers responsibility to inspect all date codes and verify the manufacturers warranty information before installation. Warranties on date coded items will only be approved on date codes that fall with-in the manufacturers warranty period from the stamped date.


All parts ordered for warranty claim purposes are non-returnable. Any products ordered for warranty claims without a warranty return number or approved by Appliance Parts Company are considered an offer to purchase these parts. These purchases are then fall under Appliance Parts Company's normal terms of payment and subject to interest charges if not paid within our standard payment terms.


RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). No warranty or return items will be accepted without an RMA. All warranty requests must be emailed to sales@appliancepartscompany.com. Please include your name, invoice number, make, model number, serial number and a full explanation of the warranty issue. Some manufacturers require their own paperwork to be filled out and the proper manufacturer forms must be used and filled out in full. Appliance Parts Company will then provide an RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization) that must appear on the outside of the returned package as well as any paperwork. Returns with no RMA # will be refused. An RMA # will be provided within 24 business hours. As Appliance Parts Company only claims responsibility for warranty on the product additional shipping and handling charges will apply. Shipping any warranty or returns back to Appliance Parts Company or the Manufacturer is the responsibility and at the cost to the customer. We recommend when shipping warranty or return items that a carrier with tracking capability is used for protection against loss or damage.
