Description
The PSS1 is a 1 MFD 120 VAC motor start capacitor for small single-phase HVAC motors and appliance applications. Start capacitors provide the additional phase shift and current boost that PSC and CSIR motors need during startup to develop full starting torque. Replacing a degraded start capacitor eliminates hard-start failures and allows equipment to start reliably under load.
